Rules:
Updated 3/25/05
- New members
cannot play in Silver/Gold Classics.
- New member
defined as any person who was never a member of the Gannon Inner Club
or a return member with no
verifiable M.G.A handicap.
- No tournament
or scorecard requirements for known established members with a
course or M.G.A. handicap.
- Gold &
Silver Classics will be seeded. Double shots will be allowed in
Silver Classic at 75% handicap.
- Scorecards
are required for all Inner Club Tournaments and must be turned
in.
Failure to comply will result in disqualification.
- All infringements
or questions that arise while competing are to be disclosed to
the Pro Shop immediately
upon completion of the round. Do not by-pass the Pro Shop and
discuss problems at the 19th hole.
Resolve by Pro Shop and/or tournament committee.
- All 4 man
tournaments could be changed to 5 man tournaments due to the increase
in membership.
- The handicap
systems remains: 0-18 no triple bogeys; 19 cap = 1 triple bogey;
20 cap = 2 triple bogies etc.
This system is to speed up play and correct abuses.
- To be eligible
to hit from the white tees:
a.) You must be 65 years old or older and your handicap and age
must be a combination of 80.
b.) Even if you qualify with the above, you still have the option
to play from the blues if you desire.
Where ever you start the season you must remain. No moving back
and forth allowed.
- Missing
a tournament tee time is automatic (1) Tournament Suspension.
No telephone call (2) Tournament Suspension.
- Excluding
members running for office, any issue to be put on the ballot
must be supported by a minimum
of 10% of the membership. Any issue voted on and accepted by the
membership will remain in effect for
a minimum of 2 years.
- All inner
club dues must be paid before entering any inner club
tournament.
